This information is essential for the technical transmission of the websites and secure server operation. This data is not evaluated for any specific purpose.

If you send us data via the contact form, this information will be stored on our servers for backup purposes. We will use your data exclusively to process your request. Your data will be treated with the strictest confidence. It will not be shared with third parties.

Below we would like to inform you in particular about when we store which data and how we use it.

Technical requirements
In order for you to establish a connection to our website, your browser transmits certain data to our website's web server. This is a technical necessity so that the information you access can be made available on the website. To make this possible, your IP address (anonymized), the date and time of your request and the type of operating system are stored and used for a maximum of 48 hours. We reserve the right to store this data for a limited time to protect our legitimate interests in order to derive personal data in the event of unauthorized access or an attempt to intentionally harm us in this way (Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR). We will only store or forward the data for this purpose and for no other purpose without informing you beforehand and asking for your permission.

Anonymous data collection
You can generally visit our website without revealing your identity. We only receive the name of your Internet service provider, the website from which you visit us, and the web pages you visit while on our site. This information is evaluated solely for statistical purposes. You remain anonymous as an individual user.

Cookies
Cookies are small data files stored on your computer or mobile device via your browser. They can, for example, detect whether you repeatedly visit websites from the same device or browser. We generally use cookies to analyze interest in our website and to improve its user-friendliness. However, you can generally access our website without cookies.
Cookies can usually be deactivated or removed using tools available in most commercial browsers. These settings must be configured separately and individually for each browser you use. Different browsers offer different features and options for this.
To use our website fully and conveniently, you should accept cookies that enable the use of certain functions or make use more convenient. You can see the purpose of the cookies we use and how long they are stored in the following overview:

Cookie types:
To help you understand the most common types of cookies, we have explained them below:

  1. Session cookies:
Session cookies allow users and the changes they make within a website to be recognized. They allow the website to track their movements across individual pages, so that information that has already been entered/saved doesn't need to be entered/saved again. An example of this is shopping carts in online stores. The session cookie saves the selected products in the shopping cart so that it contains the correct items when paying at the checkout. Session cookies are deleted when you log out or expire once the session has automatically expired.
  2. Persistent or log cookies:
A persistent or log cookie stores user information and settings on the user's computer for the period specified by the expiration date. This results in faster and more convenient access, as you don't have to re-adjust language settings or re-enter login information, for example. The cookie is automatically deleted after the expiration date.
  3. Third-party cookies:
Third-party cookies generally have no impact on site usage, as they do not originate from the website operator. They serve the purpose of collecting information for advertising, customized content, and web statistics, for example, and passing this information on to the respective third party provider.
  4. Tracking cookies:
Tracking cookies are special text files that allow for the collection of data about internet user behavior. This is intended to gain information about the user's main interests, for example, in order to launch tailored advertising offers. Tracking cookies are therefore not only set when you register, but also automatically when you visit the website.

The above examples of the most common types of cookies are intended to give you a general overview of this type of data collection. This information does not claim to be exhaustive.

Collection, processing and use of personal data
Personal data is only collected if you provide it to us voluntarily, for example, to process your inquiries or when registering for personalized services. The personal data collected is primarily processed and used to process your inquiries or to execute any contract with you. We attach great importance to collecting only the data that is absolutely necessary.

We also use and process your information to inform you about our products, services, and promotions that may be of interest to you via the communication channels you specify (e.g., letter, fax, email, telephone), as well as to conduct customer surveys if necessary. Where required by law, your data will only be used for advertising purposes if you have given your prior consent.

The processing of your personal data takes place exclusively in countries of the European Economic Area.

Disclosure of personal data
If we share personal data, we do so exclusively with service providers and partner companies that support us in processing customer inquiries. These companies may only use your personal data to perform their tasks on our behalf and are obligated to comply with the relevant data protection regulations.

We may occasionally be required to disclose your data due to legal regulations or legal proceedings. Otherwise, however, we do not share personal data with third parties.

Data protection in applications and during the application process
The controller collects and processes the personal data of applicants for the purpose of processing the application procedure. Processing may also be carried out electronically. This is particularly the case if an applicant submits corresponding application documents to the controller electronically, for example by email or via a web form on the website. If the controller concludes an employment contract with an applicant, the transmitted data will be stored for the purpose of processing the employment relationship in compliance with the statutory provisions. If the controller does not conclude an employment contract with the applicant, the application documents will be automatically deleted 6 months after notification of the rejection decision, provided that no other legitimate interests of the controller conflict with deletion. Other legitimate interests in this sense include, for example, the burden of proof in proceedings under the General Equal Treatment Act (AGG).

Integration of OpenStreetMap

This site uses the open source map tool “OpenStreetMap” (OSM) via an API. The provider is the OpenStreetMap Foundation. To use the functions of OpenStreetMap it is necessary to save your IP address. This information is usually transferred to an OpenStreetMap server and stored there. The provider of this site has no influence on this data transfer. OpenStreetMap is used in the interest of an appealing presentation of our online offerings and to make the locations we specify on the website easy to find. This represents a legitimate interest within the meaning of Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR. Further information on how user data is handled can be found in the OpenStreetMap Foundation ’s privacy policy.

Accessory Navigator

This site uses "Zubehör-Navigator", an offer from Dr. Schnell & Dr. Hensel GmbH, Stangenland 2, 18146 Rostock. We have commissioned this provider to support us in communicating with you (e.g. for online appointments, callback requests or product inquiries) and to provide an online product catalog, including a web store if necessary. The provider has been contractually bound by us to comply with data protection.
This service is integrated on our website either by placing corresponding modules directly on our website or by linking to an externally provided website (so-called "landing page") on the provider's servers. When loading the modules or calling up the landing page with these modules, the provider's servers are also called up for technical reasons. For the associated collection and use of your browser data and the use of cookies, please refer to the provider's privacy policy (see https://info.zubehoer-navigator.de/legal.html#datenschutzerklaerung ).
Various thematic contact forms are provided for communication with you. We use all the information provided in these forms to process your inquiry, to ask any queries you may have or to inform you of rescheduled appointments. We delete your personal data as soon as it is no longer required for the purposes for which it was collected and processed and provided there are no statutory retention obligations to the contrary.

If a shop function is available, you can place orders in a web shop on our website or on our landing page. The personal data collected during the ordering process will be transmitted to us and stored. We use this data only to process your order and also share it with service providers involved in the process (e.g., logistics partners for delivery or credit institutions for processing the payment transaction). The data we collect to process your order will be deleted at the end of the statutory retention periods.
Your data will generally not be shared with third parties for any of the aforementioned uses. An anonymized and aggregated analysis of the use of the "Accessory Navigator" product will be conducted. For this purpose, links to your personal data have been removed. For any further use of your personal data, we will ask for your prior permission.

Newsletter

With the newsletter we inform you about us and our offers.

If you would like to receive the newsletter, we require a valid email address from you, as well as information that allows us to verify that you are the owner of the specified email address or that the owner of the address agrees to receive the newsletter. No further data will be collected. This data will only be used to send the newsletter and will not be shared with third parties.

Double opt-in and logging

Registration for our newsletter is done using a so-called double opt-in process . This means that after registration, you will receive an email asking you to confirm your registration. This confirmation is necessary to ensure that no one else can register using someone else's email address. Newsletter registrations are logged to provide evidence of the registration process in accordance with legal requirements.

When you subscribe to the newsletter, we save the date of registration. This storage serves solely as evidence in the event that a third party misuses an email address and registers to receive the newsletter without the knowledge of the authorized user. We have activated IP anonymization . Please note that Google Analytics has been extended on this website with the code "gat._anonymizeIp();" to ensure the anonymized collection of IP addresses (so-called IP masking).

You can revoke your consent to the storage of your data, your email address, and their use for sending the newsletter (Leadership Impulses) at any time. You can revoke your consent via a link in the newsletter itself, in your profile, or by sending a message to the contact details listed above.

Revocation of your consent to data processing
This data processing is only possible with your express consent. You can revoke your previously granted consent at any time. To do so, simply send an informal message to the address below. The legality of the data processing carried out up to the time of revocation remains unaffected by the revocation.

Use of Facebook social plugins

This website uses social plugins ("plugins") from the social network facebook.com, which is operated by Facebook Ireland Ltd, 4 Grand Canal Square, Grand Canal Harbour, Dublin 2, Ireland ("Facebook"). The plugins can be recognized by one of the Facebook logos (white "f" on a blue tile, the terms "Like", "Gefällt mir" or a "thumbs up" sign) or are marked with the addition "Facebook Social Plugin". The list and appearance of Facebook social plugins can be viewed here: https://developers.facebook.com/docs/plugins/.

When a user visits a website on this site that contains such a plugin, their browser establishes a direct connection to Facebook's servers. The content of the plugin is transmitted directly from Facebook to your browser, which then integrates it into the website. The provider therefore has no influence on the extent of the data that Facebook collects using this plugin and therefore informs users according to its current knowledge :

By integrating the plug-in, Facebook receives the information that a user has accessed the corresponding page of the service. If the user is logged in to Facebook, Facebook can associate the visit with their Facebook account. When users interact with the plug-in, for example, by clicking the Like button or leaving a comment, the corresponding information is transmitted directly from their browser to Facebook and stored there. Even if a user is not a Facebook member, it is still possible that Facebook will obtain and store their IP address. According to Facebook, only an anonymized IP address is stored in Germany.

The purpose and scope of data collection and the further processing and use of the data by Facebook as well as the related rights and setting options for protecting the privacy of users can be found in Facebook's privacy policy: https://www.facebook.com/about/privacy/ .

If a user is a Facebook member and does not want Facebook to collect data about them through this service and link it to their member data stored on Facebook, they must log out of Facebook before visiting the website. Further settings and objections to the use of data for advertising purposes are available within the Facebook profile settings: https://www.facebook.com/settings?tab=ads .

Privacy Policy for the use of Google Analytics

This website uses functions of the web analysis service Google Analytics. The provider is Google Inc. 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway Mountain View, CA 94043, USA. Google Analytics uses so-called "cookies". These are text files that are stored on your computer and enable your use of the website to be analyzed. The information generated by the cookie about your use of this website is usually transmitted to a Google server in the USA and stored there.

We have activated IP anonymization . However, if IP anonymization is activated on this website, Google will shorten your IP address beforehand within member states of the European Union or in other contracting states to the Agreement on the European Economic Area. Only in exceptional cases will the full IP address be transmitted to a Google server in the USA and shortened there. On behalf of the operator of this website, Google will use this information to evaluate your use of the website, to compile reports on website activity and to provide the website operator with other services relating to website activity and internet usage. The IP address transmitted by your browser as part of Google Analytics will not be merged with other Google data.

You can prevent cookies from being saved by selecting the appropriate settings on your browser; however, please note that if you do this, you may not be able to use the full functionality of this website. Furthermore, you can prevent Google from collecting the data generated by the cookie and relating to your use of the website (including your IP address) and from processing this data by downloading and installing the browser plug-in available under the following link: http://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout?hl=de

Right of objection

If we process your data based on legitimate interests, you can object to this data processing at any time; this would also apply to profiling based on these provisions. We will then no longer process your data unless we can demonstrate compelling legitimate grounds for the processing that override your interests, rights, and freedoms, or the processing serves to assert, exercise, or defend legal claims. You can object to the processing of your data for direct marketing purposes at any time without giving reasons.

Use of Google Tag Manager
We use Google Tag Manager. Google Tag Manager can manage a wide variety of website tags from marketers via a single interface. The tool (the Tag Manager that implements the tags) is a cookie-free domain and does not collect any personal data. Only tags are triggered, which in turn may collect data. However, Google Tag Manager does not access this data. If deactivation has been performed at the domain or cookie level, this remains in effect for all tracking tags implemented with Google Tag Manager. Google's privacy policy for this tool can be found here: https://www.google.de/analytics/tag-manager/use-policy/
